Extremely rare set of six dessert or cocktail plates "Cheers" by Rae Dunn by Magenta. Rae Dunn is an American artist from California. She developed an extremely popular line of ceramics. She finds beauty in simple shapes, natural forms, and found objects. Her work captures the simplicity and playfulness that are the cornerstones of her own life. A classical pianist, painter, and frequent world traveler, Rae has been influenced by many cultures and artistic pursuits. Rae’s work is deceivingly straightforward. This set of six plates in there original box was her first foray into mass production. Very few are available on the market. They are thick and have the classic Rae Dunn uneven/natural appearance. Each plate depicts a different cocktail glass. The plates are in like new condition. It is unlikely they were ever used. Original box included.
