Rare collection of five original furniture design sketches. Each piece appears to be hand-colored, with exquisite attention to detail. These sketches are marked Gilbers'sche Königl. Hof. Verlagsbuchhandlung, a German publisher known of the 1888 publication "Ornamental Details in the Baroque and Rococo Style."
I believe these are original sketches for the book published in 1888. The are in fantastic condition for their age. All are matted. Minimal foxing. Please see images for condition. Fig. 99 has a tiny puncture (pictured)
