Signed First Edition Book Spearhead by Martin Abzug

This is a signed, first edition copy of Spearhead by Martin Abzug. It is in excellent condition, which just a couple of pencil marks inside. The inscription reads: To Rosylin and Charlie, who are also becoming good fighters. Your loving cousin, Martin Published 1948 by Dial Press. Spearhead is a fictional account of U.S. Army artillery and infantry units at the start of the Battle of the Bulge in World War II. Spearhead is a little known novel of the War, but is filled with details based on the author’s own wartime experiences, plus examines the deeper moral questions of the conflict. Martin's wife Bella was a lawyer, feminist and civil rights advocate who became one of the first members of Congress to support gay rights.
