About Farewell Vintage

I have been passionate about art and antiques for as long as I can remember. Watching Antiques Roadshow with my grandmother, I would scour garage sales in our neighborhood collecting pieces I loved. I would then spend hours researching the history of the items from books at the library.

I studied Art History in college and spent a dreamy semester in Florence, Italy where I was lucky enough to take all of my classes on Renaissance Art and Museum Management within the grand institutions of Florence. The Uffizi! Pitti Palace! Palazzo Vecchio! Oh, I miss it.

While I worked in museums for a bit after college, I ended up following the corporate business path, but I never lost my love for history and the craftsmanship that goes into beautiful vintage products.

Now, I am the luckiest girl in the world to be able to partner with my sister, Carly, and start bringing a curated collection of the vintage pieces of love to market that I find in my travels around the US and the globe. My goal is to find homes for treasures that time forgot about and to enlighten our followers about what makes the items we sell so special.
